Neem cake is what remains after neem seeds are cold-pressed for oil. It does two jobs at once: it releases nitrogen slowly as a fertiliser, and its natural azadirachtin content suppresses root-zone pests — nematodes, fungus gnat larvae, grubs — without a single synthetic chemical.
Why we stock it
- Fertiliser and pest control together: one product, two problems
- Fungus gnat cure: the standard organic fix for the commonest houseplant pest
- Slow release: feeds over 6–8 weeks, no flush-and-crash
How to use
- Soil mix: 50g per kg of potting soil
- Top dressing: 2 tablespoons around the base every 6 weeks, then water in
- Caution: Strong smell for a day or two after application — this fades
Contents: 1 kg cold-pressed neem cake powder in a compostable paper sack.
